SEYMOUR — Seymour scored a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns Friday night to hold off Elizabethton 21-16 in Region 1-4A football.
The Cyclones couldn't answer down the stretch as Seymour closed out the win — and with it, a home playoff game. Elizabethton will open the postseason on the road.
Elizabethton falls to 6-3 heading into next week's regular-season finale.
